Project/Department Description and responsibilities

The Infrastructure & Operations department of our client is currently looking for a Scrum Master to support the team of Product Owners and Integrators (Technical architects) in constructing the I&O product vision, product backlogs and product designs. The team is not a typical delivery team, since no actual infrastructure is being delivered by the team. However, the product of this team is product visions, product roadmaps and product backlogs for delivery teams. The role is a hybrid role of Scrum Master and Deputy Product Owner. This means that the person will combine his Scrum Master role with activities as Deputy Product Management in support of the Product Owners.


Primary Tasks and responsibilities
• Organizes and structures the monthly and quarterly activities of the Tribe Client Value, such as QAP, Monthly Retrospectives, weekly meetings, preparation for the KUA...
• Tracks requests in our Jira tool, such as CVPO and PMT tickets by ensuring regular updates, while reporting the impediments and velocity issues to the Product Owner.
• Analyze and understand strengths and weaknesses of the team in order to define an improvement plan to be implemented
• Help the I&O product owner and the team of Product Owners and Integrators to better work together, get the Product Owners out of daily delivery in order to focus more on their core job and achieve the necessary results at best of their abilities
• Prepare and document the non-standard (mono-product) needs and demands for evolution of IT infrastructures, internal, external users and related processes in the sector for which the Product Owner is responsible. The Product Owner remains responsible for multi-product requests.
• Represents the Product Owner during operational meetings (Weekly Standup) and translates requests into Work Packages for I&O teams.
• Respect and enforce the governance and internal processes in place, following the recommendations of the Product Owner.
• Critically assess the situation and help the team define priorities
• Communicate the progress and enhance internal communication between the I&O Product Owner and the team of product owners and Integrators
• Provide coaching in effective specific techniques
• Keep records and documentation and prepare appropriate reports
• Support the I&O product owner

- Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills

- Able to follow change management procedures and internal guidelines


Methodology/Certification requirements
- Master Degree or equivalent through experience
- Expert knowledge of Agile methodology
- Scrum Master Certification

Technical profile requirements
- +5y experience in Infrastructure & Operations
- Very good knowledge MS Office, Jira/ Confluence
- Good knowledge of Project/Program Management
- Excellent reporting skills
- Excellent communication skills

Language proficiencies
• FR and Dutch
• Very good notion of ENG
