Our client's ambition is to become a user-centric administration offering simple, digital services by default; this by exploiting the possibilities offered by new technologies and new working methods, and by integrating better into the different ecosystems. For more than 2 years, the creation of the department "Digital" has enabled us to prepare the future of the organisation towards a value-creating and innovative IT; by reinforcing proactivity and innovation capacities through the creation of a "Development of innovative uses" cluster.
This team, with its entrepreneurial profile, will be a driving force behind new uses, transformations and the promotion of digital culture and new technologies, by forging partnerships with the digital ecosystem.
With this in mind, the cluster's missions are to:
- keep a proactive, forward-looking watch on new technologies and new uses;
- experiment with new technologies and new uses through an innovation lab;
- promote and support businesses in the appropriation of existing or new technologies, to extract all the benefits from a business point of view;
- develop an ecosystem and lead a network of partners.
- To support this far-reaching change, Our client's "innovative uses" unit produces prototypes and POCs (Proof of Concept), enabling innovative solutions to be rapidly tested in response to specific issues. For over 2 years, the department has been setting up problem and solution exploration workshops (based on design thinking) and design and experimentation sprints, culminating in several functional prototypes.
The Innovative Uses cluster has come to the conclusion that this laboratory for innovation and experimentation is a simple and effective lever for transforming problem-solving practices.
To this end, the cluster would like to be supported by an expert in Digital Transformation and Innovation, in order to :
- identify our client’s needs and expectations in terms of innovation;
- formalize all the methodologies and tools required to make prototyping and experimentation a concrete part of the innovation laboratory;
- evaluate these best practices in experimentation and prototyping as part of wider projects;
- define transition governance between a PoC/Prototype and an industrialization project;
- analyze synergies between design thinking / innovation practices and other project methodologies at Digital (architecture, UX design, needs analysis, etc...)
- produce a white paper of "good innovation practices" for the whole organisation;
- develop strategies to stimulate innovation and transformation within the company.
- Advise and help volunteer administrations to stimulate and multiply innovation initiatives within the PPS
- Help train management and staff in innovation practices and tools
In order to support the "Development of Innovative Uses" cluster as it moves towards greater maturity in innovation practices, the service provider will provide a senior expert in digital transformation and innovation, with significant experience in innovation management and business transformation. This profile will work closely and collaboratively with the cluster members. The workload is estimated at around one full-time position.
