We are looking for an experienced Team Manager to lead a team of junior reporting analysts within a data-driven environment. This role requires a strong focus on people management, coaching, and performance improvement, rather than deep technical expertise.
The team is newly composed and requires guidance to deliver on a strategic reporting roadmap.
Responsibilities:
Lead and coach a team of 7 junior reporting analysts
Facilitate daily stand-ups and regular 1-on-1s
Prioritize and follow up on the team’s roadmap and backlog
Ensure timely delivery of reporting outputs
Support team members in understanding and executing reporting tasks
Act as a liaison between the team and stakeholders to clarify reporting needs
Drive performance management and foster a culture of continuous improvement
Contribute to the strategic evolution of the team’s services and ways of working
Requirements & Qualifications:
Master’s degree in an analytical field (e.g., Business Engineering, IT, Data Science, etc.)
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in data/reporting environments
At least 2 years of proven experience in a people management role
Must have skills:
Working knowledge of QlikSense
Proficiency in SQL
Familiarity with reporting tools and data environments
Strong coaching and mentoring capabilities
Excellent stakeholder management
Performance management experience
Proactive and strategic mindset
Nice to have skills:
Dutch language skills
Prior experience within telecom/data environments
Affinity with technological or network data (e.g., delivery KPIs, operational software testing KPIs)
