Our client is looking for a Business Consultant within the Product Journey tribe. This role is business-facing and requires close collaboration with various departments to identify, assess, and support new initiatives. The Business Analyst will be responsible for end-to-end journey ownership, ensuring alignment across the organization and proactively identifying the impact of changes across business units. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong IT background and a passion for customer-centric solutions.
Responsibilities:
Act as a key liaison between business and IT, ensuring mutual understanding and alignment.
Proactively identify and assess new business initiatives and their impact across departments.
Follow up on end-to-end journeys and ensure consistency in customer experience.
Analyze requirements and their impact on existing processes, systems, and tools.
Develop and present business cases to support decision-making.
Collaborate with architects and technical teams to explore and assess solutions.
Document chosen solutions and ensure legal compliance.
Set acceptance criteria and validate solutions with stakeholders.
Provide insights and recommendations based on data and stakeholder input.
Present findings and proposals to upper management and other key stakeholders.
Maintain a strong understanding of customer operations, including call center environments.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Master’s or bachelor’s degree
Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Broad business understanding and ability to assess cross-functional impact
Technical affinity and experience with process modeling and documentation
Experience in customer-centric or call center environments
Comfortable presenting to senior leadership and working in high-visibility roles
Must have skills:
Strategic and broad thinking mindset
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience with business case development
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Experience with Jira
Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)
Nice to have skills:
Experience in the telco or utilities sector
Familiarity with customer journey mapping and service design
