Our client is looking for a Technical Business Consultant to strengthen both the Service & Resource Inventory (SRI) team and the Technical Order Fulfilment (TOF) team within the Product Journey Tribe. The role focuses on maximizing business value by translating business needs into concepts, insights, and future‑proof solutions. A key mission is supporting the redesign of the OSS provisioning and inventory landscape for HFC and FTTH products. You act as a trusted advisor, bridging business and technology, and supporting transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Translate business needs into clear technical documentation for delivery partners.
Ensure technical alignment and follow initiatives end‑to‑end from kick‑off to go‑live.
Maximize business value through analysis, design, and continuous value monitoring.
Perform requirements and impact analysis on processes, systems, and tools.
Provide input for roadmaps, business cases, and strategic decisions.
Develop conceptual solution designs and evaluate innovative approaches.
Define acceptance criteria and validate end‑to‑end solutions.
Support change management and ensure high‑quality implementation.
Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to knowledge management.
Deliver analyses to support both operational and strategic decision‑making.
Collaborate closely with internal teams and external delivery partners.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Educational Background
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred, but strong relevant experience and BA/MA level of thinking/capabilities can compensate.
Experience
5–7 years of relevant experience as a Technical Business Consultant or Functional Analyst.
Must reside in Belgium and be familiar with local work practices.
Strong affinity with IT and network domains.
Must have skills: Technical Skills (Must‑Haves)
Strong experience in process modelling, process management, and documentation.
Knowledge of SOAP and REST, including API documentation (e.g., Swagger).
Experience with both COTS and custom‑built applications.
Soft Skills (Must‑Haves)
Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work well within team dynamics and avoid friction.
Comfortable working in complex telecom and OSS environments.
Nice to have skills:
Knowledge of AWS or GCP.
Telecom experience, especially in OSS/BSS or network provisioning.
