The Senior Product Owner represents both business stakeholders and end‑customers, understanding their expectations, preferences, and pain points. The Product Owner is responsible for the product vision, roadmap, value delivery, and prioritization of product squads to ensure a stable run and effective implementation of changes that contribute to the organization’s digital strategy.
Primary Tasks and responsibilities
• Develop a deep understanding of business objectives, processes, and customer needs to guide product prioritization and improvements.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and customers, ensuring continuous alignment and clear communication.
• Lead product strategy, lifecycle management, and long-term planning.
• Monitor business, market, and technology trends to keep the strategy relevant and propose innovative solutions.
• Create product roadmaps and release plans aligned with customer expectations and business goals.
• Translate business and end‑user needs into actionable product and technical requirements.
• Manage and maintain the Product Backlog, ensuring clear prioritization and readiness before each Sprint.
• Work closely with development teams to support understanding, scoping, planning, and delivering functionalities.
• Oversee quality assurance to ensure delivered features meet the intended design and customer expectations.
• Manage delivery follow‑up, production validation, incident resolution, and Product Pack Log Management.
• Identify risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate and resolve obstacles proactively.
• Ensure compliance with architecture, security, financial, and organizational standards.
• Continuously monitor product performance and initiate improvement actions when needed.
• Optimize resource use, ensuring focus on initiatives with the highest business value.
• Support agile ceremonies, clarify requirements, and help squads understand priorities.
• Make arbitration decisions regarding feature scope and delivery priorities.
• Manage product budget, cost control, and investment decisions with a ROI-driven approach.
Technical profile requirements
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Very good understanding of SOA, APIs, API Management, Microservices, REST, and Enterprise Integration Patterns.
• Strong analytical skills and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Ability to break down complex technical information for diverse audiences.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure components (on-prem & cloud) is a plus.
Non-Technical profile requirements
• Strong relationship‑building and collaboration skills with diverse and matrix‑structured stakeholders and customers.
• Ability to surface, prioritize, and balance multiple stakeholder priorities.
• Strong project management skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Knowledge of the Agile way of working (POs, Squads, Ceremonies, Agile Mindset, …).
• Expertise in strategic thinking and strong business acumen.
Methodology/Certification requirements
• Master Degree in Computer Science OR equivalent through experience.
