Process Manager

Mechelen, Belgium
We are looking for a Process Team Manager to lead a team of ~7–8 process analysts and consultants within the company's Transformation organization.
This role combines strong people leadership with strategic thinking and organizational design, ensuring the team is aligned with the overall change roadmap and capable of delivering high-impact process improvements.
You will act as a key player in shaping how change is prioritized, structured, and implemented across the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Process Product Owners / analysts
  • Drive the people management agenda: growth, onboarding, performance, engagement
  • Define and maintain the process roadmap and methodology framework
  • Support prioritization of change requests and ensure alignment with strategic goals
  • Ensure governance and consistency in process design and change initiatives
  • Oversee process design using standardized methodologies (e.g. BPMN)
  • Align across stakeholders and identify dependencies between initiatives
  • Prepare and present roadmaps and updates in governance forums (e.g. Product Board)
  • Manage team capacity and ensure focus on key priorities
  • Act as a bridge-builder and diplomat across stakeholders with conflicting expectations
  • Contribute to the broader change organization strategy together with leadership
  • Ensure a clear balance between short-term priorities and long-term vision
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree
  • 5 years of relevant experience, including team leadership
  • Proven experience in people management and coaching
  • Strong background in change management / transformation environments
  • Affinity with process management and optimization (methodology knowledge is a plus)
  • Experience in telecom / ICT sector is an advantage
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to operate at operational, tactical, and strategic levels
  • Strong analytical mindset with a “helicopter view”
  • Excellent presentation and reporting skills
Must have skills:
  • Strong people leadership & coaching mindset (core focus)
  • Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution
  • Experience in change governance and prioritization
  • Ability to manage complexity and dependencies
  • Stakeholder management & expectation management (incl. difficult stakeholders)
  • Diplomatic communication with ability to set boundaries
  • Affinity with process management
  • Excellent English communication skills
Nice to have skills:
  • Knowledge of BPMN, UML or similar process methodologies
  • Experience in telecom / ICT
  • Dutch language skills
  • Experience in transformation or program-driven environments
  • Experience working with external partners and regulators
