SIM engineer
We are looking for an experienced SIM engineer to join the Service Activation Squad.
The Service Activation Squad is responsible for the technical provisioning of most services (except entertainment) and the SIM Engineering.
The candidate will be responsible for the SIM related engineering projects we do. Main tasks are defining SIM profiles, running OTA campaigns and replacing the existing OTA platform from Synapse with the new platform of Idemia.
Responsibilities:
The Service Activation Squad is responsible for the technical provisioning of most services (except entertainment) and the SIM Engineering.
The candidate will be responsible for the SIM related engineering projects we do. Main tasks are defining SIM profiles, running OTA campaigns and replacing the existing OTA platform from Synapse with the new platform of Idemia.
Responsibilities:
- BAT testing of new SIM cards
- Define new (e)SIM cards for Wholesale partners
- Create 5G Stand Alone SIM cards and eSIMs
- Run SIM-OTA campaigns on Synapse platform
- Replace SIM-OTA platform with new platform of Idemia
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in each of the must-have skills below.
- 5G SA SIM and eSIM
- Experience in designing a SIM and eSIM profiles
- Thorough knowledge of 5G profiles
- SIM-OTA platform experience
- Experience of working with a SIM-OTA platform (brands Synapse and Idemia)
- SIM and eSIM Profile management
- Know-how for testing of SIM profiles
- Experience with APDU commands
- Knowledge of 3GPP TS 31.102 (characteristics of the USIM application)
- Knowledge of ETSI TS 102 221 (UICC terminal interface)
- SIM-OTA campaigns
- Experience in building a SIM-OTA campaign from scratch
- Experience in executing and following up SIM-OTA campaigns
- Can work independently
- Experience of working in an agile environment
