The BtC Sales team manages multiple sales channels for energy supply, services, and installations. Within this framework, the ‘Digital Sales' division focuses on the websites with special attention to digital innovation and optimization. The E-Commerce Performance Expert plays a pivotal role in driving conversion, optimizing performance, and implementing A/B testing strategies. Reporting to the E-Commerce Manager, this role supports the execution of the digital strategy to enhance sales.
Mission
The E-Commerce Performance Expert is responsible for improving the performance of the company's portal through test campaigns, data-driven analysis, conversion rate optimization (CRO), continuous testing (A/B and multivariate, offer,.. ), and performance reporting. This role ensures that all online journeys are optimized to meet strategic sales targets while supporting the manager with execution of larger-scale initiatives.
Detailed Tasks
Key Responsibilities
Formulate test plan within the framework of the e-commerce strategic and operational plan
Set-up, run and monitor test campaigns in order to drive sales
Set-up, run and monitor A/B and multivariate tests to improve UX and conversion.
Analyze customer journeys and recommend optimizations across product pages, funnels, and CTAs.
Work closely with Digital and Marketing to implement changes based on testing and analytics.
Manage CRO tools and dashboards to provide actionable insights to the team.
Contribute to lead generation, cross-sell strategies, and campaign optimizations.
Provide support for the ongoing maintenance of a high-performing, customer-centric platform.
Assist in benchmarking and competitive analysis to spot digital best practices in the sector (e.g. banking, telecom, energy).
Collaborate with data, pricing, and product teams to validate hypotheses and recommend prioritizations.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Conversion Rate (CRO) uplift through experimentation.
Lead quality and engagement scores.

Reduction in bounce and drop-off rates.

COMPETENCES
Strong analytical skills and experience with CRO and analytics platforms (e.g., GoogleAnalytics, Hotjar, Optimizely).
Hands-on experience in testing platforms and UX analysis.

Qualifications & Experience
Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Digital or equivalent by experience.
Proven track record in conversion optimization and performance analytics.
Fluent in Dutch or French; working proficiency in English.
5+ years of experience in e-commerce, preferably in energy, telecom, or banking.
Proven track record in CRO, performance campaigning and analytics.
