The Technology Strategist defines and evolves the company's technology strategy and roadmap, aligning business, architecture, and delivery. The role drives cross‑company technology governance, steers enterprise‑wide assessments, and ensures coherent, compliant and future‑proof technology decisions.
It requires strong enterprise architecture affinity, deep technological insight (cloud, AI, automation), and excellent stakeholder management.
Responsibilities:
Co‑create and evolve the company's technology strategy and roadmap with senior leadership.
Facilitate technology governance through the Technology Cockpit and other executive forums.
Drive organisation‑wide alignment across business, architecture, and delivery.
Translate emerging technologies (AI, cloud, automation) into actionable priorities.
Lead enterprise‑wide technology landscape assessments (infra, security, tooling).
Support and engage technology communities; stimulate adoption of shared standards.
Identify and resolve fragmentation risks in tooling and technology choices.
Act as a strong influencer, building momentum for transformation initiatives.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Relevant master’s or bachelor’s degree or equivalent by extended relevant experience
Minimum 8+ years relevant experience in strategy, enterprise architecture, digital transformation, or similar enterprise‑level functions.
Certifications like TOGAF, SAFe Architect, etc. are a plus but not mandatory
Must have skills:
Strong background in enterprise architecture, technology strategy, or digital transformation.
Proven experience with large‑scale, enterprise‑wide assessments and complex organisations.
Adequate knowledge of cloud, AI, automation, and modern technology trends.
